I’ve been trying to follow the mainland Chinese Indie music scene for sometime now and its utterly refreshing to see more new outfits daring to try out new music styles. Dabaoge looks to be a really exciting site to follow to keep track of the changing music scene in Beijing.

If you’re looking for something to listen to while you’re stuck at home with all the rain that’s pouring down due to the monsoon season, this should be in your playlist.

Good mix, nice acoustics and beautiful crafted lyrics.

Their first track from the album titled, “Half Moon” is a great introduction to the band for first time listeners. (Track embedded below)
