Blind Pilot is an indie folk band based out of Portland, Oregon. The band recently released their 2nd full-length album, “We Are The Tide” in September and we’ve been listening it for sometime now.
If you’re looking for something to listen to while you’re stuck at home with all the rain that’s pouring down due to the monsoon season, this should be in your playlist.
Good mix, nice acoustics and beautiful crafted lyrics.
Their first track from the album titled, “Half Moon” is a great introduction to the band for first time listeners. (Track embedded below)
He has been described as “if Beck were a decade or so younger and had grown up more heavily immersed in hip-hop,” with his rapping style noted for “blending styles of indie rock, electro, and talkin’ blues” with hip-hop. He has described himself as “historical fiction hip-hop.”
So its been a while since the former vocalist for Allura, Inch Chua, left Singapore to pursue her singing career. We haven’t heard much from her other than some sporadic video updates and covers on her youtube page. So you can imagine our surprise when we found this rather elaborate duet of popular Youtube artist David Choi and Inch Chua appear on our youtube feed.
